Atlas does not pursue attention. It earns recognition through the quality of its records, and the trust placed in them over time.
Every Monument is made by two people: the one documented, and the one who knew them well enough to listen.
- type
- Set in Newsreader, a text serif, for the records themselves; JetBrains Mono carries the metadata — labels, dates, disciplines, accession codes.
- mark
- The Atlas Mark is a single capital A, drawn from the Picaflor typeface and modified for archival use. Designed by Akash Prakash Chaudhari (akkiipc).
- form
- Static pages. Hairline rules, no rounded corners, no shadows, flat color. Motion is slow and quiet, and stands down entirely when a visitor prefers reduced motion.
- machine layer
- Each published Monument embeds Schema.org Person markup and serves a person.json export beside it; the site serves llms.txt. Written for readers first, machines alongside.
- absent by design
- No accounts, no likes, no follows, no comments, no feeds, no notifications.
- editorial office
- Mumbai, India · established 2026.
A record, kept slowly.
